Bob The Drag Queen

Bob the Drag Queen rose to fame as the winner of the eighth season of "RuPaul's Drag Race." He has since become a recognized figure in the drag community, co-hosting the HBO series "We're Here" and appearing in television shows such as "High Maintenance," "Tales of the City," and "A Black Lady Sketch Show." His musical endeavors include releasing the single "Purse First" in 2016 and collaborating with artists like Alaska Thunderfuck and Shangela on various music projects. Bob also co-hosts the podcast "Sibling Rivalry" with Monét X Change and has even ventured into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, appearing in the show "Dungeons and Drag Queens" on Dropout.

Bob's versatility extends to the stage and literary world. He performed as Belize in the Berkeley Rep's production of "Angels in America" and is also the author of the novel "Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert." His community engagement is noteworthy, as he co-founded the Black Queer Town Hall, which features speakers such as Laverne Cox and Angela Davis. Onscreen, Bob has made a mark with comedy specials including "Bob the Drag Queen: Suspiciously Large Woman" and "Bob the Drag Queen: Crazy Black Lady," and was featured as a contestant on the third season of the American reality competition "The Traitors."

Throughout his career, Bob has received numerous awards, including GLAAD Media Awards, Peabody Awards, Queerty Awards, and Webby Awards. His work in television, podcasts, and as a public figure in the drag and LGBTQ+ communities has been widely recognized. Bob identifies as Pansexual and non-binary, uses binary pronouns, and remains active in LGBTQ rights activism.
