Bob Odenkirk

Bob Odenkirk, an American actor, screenwriter, comedian, and producer began his career writing for notable TV shows such as "Saturday Night Live" from 1987 to 1991 and "The Ben Stiller Show" in 1992. His writing contributions earned him Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1989 and 1993. Odenkirk then moved on to co-create and co-star in the HBO sketch comedy series "Mr. Show with Bob and David" from 1995 to 1998, and later the Netflix series "W/ Bob & David" in 2015.

Odenkirk's acting career took a new turn when he played Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill on "Breaking Bad" from 2009 to 2013 and its spin-off "Better Call Saul" from 2015 to 2022. His performance in these series led to his first Golden Globe nomination. He also featured in the first season of the FX anthology series "Fargo" in 2014, and in the AMC series "Lucky Hank" in 2023. His directorial skills were showcased in films including "Melvin Goes to Dinner" in 2003, "Let's Go to Prison" in 2006, and "The Brothers Solomon" in 2007.

As a writer, Odenkirk penned "Run Ronnie Run!" in 2002, and "Girlfriend's Day" in 2017. His acting prowess extended to supporting roles in films such as "Nebraska" in 2013, "The Post" in 2017, "Incredibles 2" in 2018, and "Little Women" in 2019. He took on the leading role and served as a producer for the action film "Nobody" in 2021. His Broadway debut in David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross" in 2025 earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play.
