Blake Moret Biography
Blake Moret is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Moret joined Rockwell in 1985 as an engineering intern and has spent his entire career with the company, holding leadership positions across multiple business units and functions, including international assignments in Europe and Canada. He became CEO on July 1, 2016 and was elected Chairman of the Board effective January 1, 2018. Under his leadership, Rockwell combines deep industry expertise with advanced technology to help customers improve productivity, resilience, and sustainability.
Moret is deeply passionate about workforce development and has championed initiatives such as the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing to support U.S. veterans transitioning to civilian careers. He also serves as vice chair of the National Association of Manufacturers, sits on the Business Roundtable and co‑chairs the World Economic Forum’s Advanced Manufacturing Community of CEOs, among other industry and civic boards.
