Bill Sheridan

Bill Sheridan serves as chief communications officer for the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA), where he leads member engagement and strategic communication initiatives. In this role, he helps shape the association’s public voice by developing content and managing digital outreach across multiple platforms. Sheridan produces the association’s “Future Proof” podcast, which highlights developments in the accounting and finance profession. He speaks at national events about the accounting profession’s future, communication strategy, and use of technology/social media.

Sheridan is also an EOS Implementer, working with organizational leaders to clarify goals, improve operational alignment, and help businesses achieve measurable results. He frequently speaks at national conferences on the future of the accounting and finance industry, with a focus on the strategic use of social media, collaboration tools, and modern communication practices in professional education and association management.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Sheridan holds the Certified Association Executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives, earned in 2010. In addition to his work in communications and organizational leadership, he is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a designation he earned in 2017.

Through his work in both professional association leadership and business coaching, Sheridan focuses on advancing the evolving role of communication, education, and technology in modern organizations.
