Bill Gerber

Bill Gerber is an Emmy Award winner and a producer nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, with more than 30 years of experience shaping some of the most iconic films of the last three decades. A former president of production at Warner Bros. Pictures, Gerber played a pivotal role in bringing to life classics such as "L.A. Confidential," "JFK," "Heat," "You've Got Mail," "Twister," "The Perfect Storm," "Three Kings" and the "Harry Potter" series. After founding Gerber Pictures, he produced "A Star Is Born," "Gran Torino," "A Very Long Engagement," "Grudge Match" and "Moonage Daydream." His work on "A Star Is Born" earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture as well as a Golden Globe nomination, while "A Very Long Engagement" received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

Gerber's career spans both film and music, giving him a distinctive perspective on storytelling across industries. He began in music management at Lookout Management, co-managing acts such as The Cars, Devo and Neil Young. In television and documentary work, Gerber received an Emmy nomination for "James Dean," a Sports Emmy for HBO's "What's My Name | Muhammad Ali," and produced "Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes" for HBO.

Beyond entertainment, Gerber has served as an advisor for leading companies including AOL, Authentic Brands Group, Lennar Homes and Udio.
