Ben Marshall is a comedian, writer, and performer recognized as a founding member of the comedy trio Please Don't Destroy. After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Marshall began his career in comedy as an intern and on-air participant at "The Tonight Show." His collaboration with John Higgins and Martin Herlihy resulted in the formation of Please Don't Destroy, a group known for its internet-focused sketches and digital shorts.
Marshall's career expanded when Please Don't Destroy joined "Saturday Night Live" as writer-performers, contributing to several of the show's popular segments. The group's work extended into film with the release of the feature "Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain," which Marshall co-wrote, starred in, and executive-produced. Please Don't Destroy has also completed a 25-city live tour and received recognition from outlets such as New York Magazine, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter for its contributions to comedy.
Marshall has demonstrated versatility as both a writer and performer, transitioning from digital content creation to television. He has been nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy Awards and joined the SNL cast in 2025 as a performer for its 51st season.
