Ben Domenech

Ben Domenech is editor at large of The Spectator, a Fox News contributor, and host of "The Big Ben Show" podcast. He co-founded The Federalist and served as its publisher for nearly a decade, and also co-founded the conservative group blog RedState. Domenech is the publisher of The Transom, a daily subscription newsletter for political insiders, and hosts "The Federalist Radio Hour" podcast.

In addition to his role at The Spectator, Domenech's work in media and political commentary includes serving as a speechwriter for Senator John Cornyn of Texas and Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson. He has held positions as a fellow at Manhattan Institute and a senior fellow at Heartland Institute, and served as editor-in-chief of The City, an academic journal focused on faith and culture. Domenech's writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, National Review, Commentary, Reason, and The New York Post, among others.
