Beau Davidson

Beau Davidson is an entertainer whose career encompasses country music, acting, and television hosting. A Regional Emmy nominee, Davidson is an international recording artist, songwriter, and actor. He began classical piano lessons at age 4 and learned contemporary hits by ear, later winning regional talent competitions and competing as a finalist in the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest. Davidson attended Northwestern University School of Music in Chicago, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in vocal performance/opera and political science.

Although trained in opera, Davidson maintained his Memphis roots and moved to Los Angeles, where he guest starred on "Days of Our Lives" and "Gilmore Girls." Between acting projects, he wrote and released the digital EP "The Good Hurt." His debut single, "More Than I Can Give," gained significant exposure, with the music video featured on CMT, GAC, MTV, and VH1. Davidson won CMT's Music City Madness original song contest with "Mr. Wrong" and opened for Josh Gracin and Craig Morgan.

Davidson is recognized for his work on "Runaway Romance" (UPtv), "The Ultimate Legacy" (Hallmark), "Gilmore Girls" (CW), "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS), and "The Singing Bee" (CMT). His original composition and video "Blessed" earned two Mid-South Emmy nominations as composer and video producer. His musical collaborations include a re-imagination of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" with National Geographic and "Heart of Purple and Gold," an original composition for veterans nonprofit Purple Hearts Reunited. Davidson was featured on Oprah for his songwriting via Skype and gained international attention for composing and premiering an honorary lullaby for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's daughter, Sunday Rose, on a New Zealand morning television show.

The United States Jaycees selected Davidson as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans for its 75th anniversary, an award given to individuals under age 40 who have achieved significant career success and dedicated their lives to service. Past recipients include Presidents Kennedy, Nixon, Ford, Clinton, and Teddy Roosevelt, as well as athletes Peyton Manning and Arthur Ashe, and Elvis Presley. Davidson serves as an ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee, The National Wildlife Federation, and Colon Cancer Awareness. He has appeared and performed on The Today Show, Fox & Friends, Fox's The Strategy Room, and Entertainment Tonight, establishing his presence in country music, television, and advocacy.
