Beanie Feldstein

Beanie Feldstein is an actress, singer, and comedian known for her work in film, television, and theater. Feldstein began acting in children's theater productions at age five and developed a strong interest in musicals. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in sociology, bringing an analytical perspective to her performances.

Feldstein gained recognition for her roles in the comedy film "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising," the comedy-drama film "Lady Bird," and the coming-of-age comedy film "Booksmart." Her performance in "Booksmart" earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture–Comedy or Musical. In "Lady Bird," directed by Greta Gerwig, Feldstein co-starred alongside Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf. The film received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture, and the cast was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Her role in "Booksmart" also earned her a CinemaCon Award and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Virtuoso Award.

On stage, Feldstein made her Broadway debut as Minnie Fay in "Hello, Dolly!" at the Shubert Theatre, performing alongside Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce. She later portrayed Fanny Brice in the first revival of "Funny Girl," a role that earned her a nomination for the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance and a Broadway.com Audience Award for Favorite Breakthrough Performance (Female).

Feldstein's television work includes her portrayal of Monica Lewinsky in the third season of the FX anthology series "Impeachment: American Crime Story," demonstrating her ability to tackle complex characters. She also played Johanna Morrigan in the coming-of-age comedy film "How to Build a Girl," an adaptation of Caitlin Moran's novel, which received positive reviews from critics. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI Prize.

Feldstein joined the cast of the fifth season of Hulu's comedy series "Only Murders in the Building," expanding her presence in television. She is also part of Richard Linklater's film adaptation of "Merrily We Roll Along," alongside Ben Platt and Paul Mescal. Feldstein's career spans comedies, dramas, and Broadway productions, establishing her as a versatile talent in the entertainment industry.
