Barry Williams

Barry Williams is an American actor, singer, and entertainer whose career spans more than five decades in television, film, and theater. Williams is best known for his portrayal of Greg Brady, the eldest son on the ABC sitcom "The Brady Bunch," appearing in all 117 episodes of the original series. Prior to this role, Williams accumulated early television credits with guest appearances on shows such as "Dragnet," "Mission: Impossible," "The Mod Squad," and "Marcus Welby, M.D."

Following "The Brady Bunch," Williams reprised the Greg Brady role in several sequels and spin-offs, including the animated series "The Brady Kids," the variety program "The Brady Bunch Hour," the television film "A Very Brady Christmas," and the reality series "A Very Brady Renovation." He also made a cameo as a record producer in the feature film "The Brady Bunch Movie." Williams expanded his career into musical theater, appearing in more than 85 productions, including Broadway runs and national tours of "Pippin," "Romance/Romance," "City of Angels," "The Music Man," "Grease," "West Side Story," and "The Sound of Music."

Williams authored the autobiography "Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg," which became a New York Times bestseller and was adapted into a television film for NBC. The book provides a behind-the-scenes look at life on a prominent American sitcom. Williams received the Young Artist Foundation's Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award for his role as Greg Brady.

Williams has remained active in popular culture, appearing on "The Masked Singer" and competing on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." He has hosted a program on SiriusXM radio, produced and starred in the live variety musical show "70s Music Celebration!" in Branson, Missouri, and tours with his musical group, Barry Williams and the Traveliers.
