Babyface Ray

Marcellus Register, known professionally as Babyface Ray, is a Detroit-based rapper recognized for his prolific music output, commitment to the Detroit hip-hop scene, and slice-of-life lyricism. Register gained significant exposure with the Billboard-charting EP "Unfuckwitable," which featured collaborations with Kash Doll, Moneybagg Yo, and EST Gee. He has released several full-length albums, including "FACE" and the Billboard-charting "MOB," as well as "Summer's Mine."

Register began his career with Team Eastside after high school, working alongside Peezy and contributing to a steady stream of music releases. His 2015 mixtape "MIA Season" marked a breakthrough, helping him build a dedicated audience. Subsequent projects such as "Ghetto Wave" and "MIA Season 2" established Register as a prominent figure in Detroit rap.

As Detroit's rap scene expanded, Register's influence grew beyond his hometown. The "Unfuckwitable" EP reached the Billboard 200, further elevating his profile. He later released an expanded version of the EP and singles including "A Million Cash Race," "What the Business Is," and "It Ain't My Fault" with Big Sean and Hit-Boy. The album "FACE" featured artists such as Pusha T, 42 Dugg, and G Herbo, and reached number 31 on the Billboard 200. A deluxe edition added eight tracks, and Register collaborated with French Montana on "Drive By," as well as releasing "Anotha One" and "Goofies" with Digga D. The album "MOB" reached number 54 on the Billboard 200. Singles like "Ron Artest" with 42 Dugg and "Donda Bag" preceded the release of "Summer's Mine."

Register continues to be a significant presence in Detroit hip-hop, known for his consistent releases and collaborations within the rap industry.
