Aza Raskin

Aza Raskin is a technologist, entrepreneur, and interface designer recognized for his work at the intersection of human-computer interaction, technology ethics, and digital product design. Trained as a mathematician and physicist, Raskin contributed to the development of the web at Mozilla, where his company Humanized became Mozilla's first acquisition. He served as head of user experience at Mozilla Labs and as lead designer for Firefox before founding several technology companies. Raskin has been named to Inc. and Forbes "30 Under 30" lists and was recognized by Fast Company as Master of Design for his work founding Massive Health, a consumer health and big data company later acquired by Jawbone, where he served as vice president of innovation.

Raskin is widely known as the inventor of infinite scroll, a design feature that enables continuous browsing of social media feeds. Observing the impact of this feature on user engagement and well-being, he co-founded the Center for Humane Technology, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting ethical technology that supports collective well-being, democracy, and a healthy information environment. Through public speaking, essays, and interviews, Raskin has emphasized the responsibility of designers to consider the broader behavioral effects of their work at scale.
