Autumn Lockwood

Autumn Lockwood has built a robust career in sports performance and conditioning. Her journey started in 2017 when she interned with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's football program, and assisted with the strength and conditioning efforts for the University of Arizona's Olympic sports. The following year, she became a strength and conditioning graduate assistant with the basketball program at East Tennessee State, a position she held until 2020. It was during this period that she gained her first NFL experience in 2019, joining the Atlanta Falcons' strength staff as an intern during organized team activities.

Lockwood's rise in the field continued as she transitioned to the role of assistant director of basketball sports performance at East Tennessee State from 2020 to 2021. Shortly thereafter, she took on the position of director of sports performance at the University of Houston. In this role, she showcased her ability to lead and manage performance enhancement strategies at a high level. Her tenure at the University of Houston spanned from 2021 to 2022.

In 2022, Lockwood joined the Philadelphia Eagles as a strength and conditioning associate. Her dedication and aptitude for her work didn't go unnoticed, and she was promoted to an associate performance coach by the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 offseason. Lockwood became the first Black woman to coach in a Super Bowl in Super Bowl LVII, and she became the first Black female coach to win in Super Bowl LIX.
