Austin Forkner Biography
Austin Forkner is a professional motocross and supercross racer. He began riding dirt bikes at the age of five and quickly ascended through the amateur ranks, securing multiple national titles. Notably, he clinched victories at the Monster Energy Cup Supermini Championships in 2012 and 2013, and the Amateur All-Stars Championship in 2015, earning him the AMA Horizon Award.
Forkner, nicknamed "Farm Boy," turned professional in 2016 with the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. In his rookie season, he achieved a fourth-place finish in the AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class standings, the highest ever for a rookie, and was honored as the Rookie of the Year. Throughout his career, he has amassed 13 AMA Supercross 250SX wins and one AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class win.
Despite his successes, Forkner's career has been marred by injuries, including a torn ACL in 2019 and a spinal injury in 2024, which have impacted his championship pursuits. In 2025, he transitioned to the Triumph Factory Racing Team, marking his first departure from Kawasaki. That season, he completed a full Supercross series for the first time, finishing 11th overall in the 250SX East class.
