Ashok Srivastava

Ashok N. Srivastava, PhD has a demonstrated track record of driving innovation with operational excellence, high velocity, and significant business impact. As Senior Vice President and Chief AI Officer at Intuit, he leads the company’s AI strategy across research, platform innovation, responsible AI, and governance. His team advances new product innovation, emerging technologies, explores next-generation AI-native experiences, and delivers transformative capabilities that power prosperity for consumers and businesses worldwide. He is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford and serves on a committee at the National Academy of Sciences on aviation safety. He has held governance roles overseeing multibillion-dollar endowments at the University of Colorado Foundation.

Srivastava joined Intuit in October 2017, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer for nearly eight years where he built an AI, analytics, and data organization that has been pivotal to Intuit's success in delivering world-class, revolutionary experiences for customers at unprecedented speed and scale. For example, its development of a proprietary Generative AI Operating System (GenOS) has led to the democratization of AI across Intuit’s business, with thousands of Intuit technologists designing, building and deploying new AI experiences.

Previously, Srivastava served as Vice president of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence systems and the Chief Data Scientist at Verizon, where his global team focused on building new revenue-generating products and services; Senior Director at Blue Martini Software; and Senior Consultant at IBM.

Srivastava founded and served as editor-in-chief of the AIAA Journal of Aerospace Information Systems. Ashok is a fellow of the IEEE, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and Honorary Fellow of the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI). He has won numerous awards, including the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, the IBM Golden Circle Award, the Department of Education Merit Fellowship, and several fellowships from the University of Colorado.

Srivastava holds a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
