Ashley Crowder

Ashley Crowder is recognized for her work at the intersection of spatial computing, 3D technology, and digital commerce. As co-founder and CEO of VNTANA, a 3D infrastructure platform utilized by companies such as VF Corp, Hugo Boss, and Diesel, Crowder has contributed to making 3D content accessible across multiple platforms.

Before founding VNTANA, Crowder earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in engineering from the University of Southern California and gained manufacturing experience at Gulfstream, Northrop Grumman, and BP. This engineering background has informed her approach to reimagining how brands design, sell, and connect with customers in a digital environment.

Crowder has led the development and launch of scalable 3D and mixed reality platforms in collaboration with organizations including Meta, Merrell, Hugo Boss, and VF Corp. She directs technology strategy at VNTANA, focusing on simplifying the creation of 3D product models for brands. VNTANA's automated pipeline supports product visualization and e-commerce for Fortune 1000 brands, enabling rapid deployment of 3D shopping experiences across web, augmented reality, and virtual reality platforms.

Crowder holds 14 patents related to 3D graphics and hologram technology and is a member of the Khronos Group, contributing to the development of industry standards in 3D technology. Her work has been recognized with honors such as induction into the AWE Hall of Fame, the Patrick Soon Innovation Award, the AIS Lumiere Award, and recognition as one of USC's leading engineering CEOs. Crowder has been featured in Meta's "What is the Metaverse" course on Coursera, as well as in Vogue Business, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, and Retail Touchpoints.

Crowder is a keynote speaker on topics including spatial computing, digital twins, and technology strategy. She has presented at events such as SXSW, Digital Summit, Internet Summit, Augmented World Expo, TEDx Venice, the World Economic Forum's Global Growth Companies & Technology Pioneers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, The Montgomery Summit, Siemer Summit, and Digital LA. Crowder is known for translating complex emerging technologies into actionable insights for audiences navigating the evolving digital landscape.
