Ashlyn Rae Willson, known professionally as Ashe, is an American singer-songwriter recognized for her blend of indie folk, alternative pop, and introspective songwriting. Willson attended Berklee College of Music, where she majored in contemporary writing and production. Early in her career, she recorded demos in Nashville and collaborated with Swedish producer Ben Phipps on the track "Sleep Alone." She later focused on dance and house music, working with artists such as Louis the Child and Shaun Frank. Willson also contributed as a songwriter, co-writing Demi Lovato's single "You Don't Do It For Me."

I Still Love You," and achieved viral success on TikTok, amassing over 1 billion streams on Spotify. A version featuring Niall Horan further increased its popularity. Willson released a trilogy of studio albums named after her real name, beginning with "Ashlyn," which reached number 18 on Billboard's Top Alternative Albums chart. Her second album, "Rae," included a guest appearance by Diane Keaton, while her third album, "Willson," marked a return to her Nashville and songwriting roots and was highlighted by Forbes and People Magazine. Willson has stated that naming her albums after her real name was an intentional artistic decision to reflect her personal connection to her work.

Throughout her career, Willson has addressed personal challenges, including canceling a planned tour to prioritize her mental health. She later returned to the music industry with "Willson." Willson has also opened for Gracie Abrams on The Secret of Us tour, performed with Suki Waterhouse, and supported Kelsea Ballerini on tour.

Expanding her creative pursuits, Willson formed the band The Favors with FINNEAS and released the album "The Dream."
