Asaf Romirowsky is a historian specializing in Middle Eastern studies. His expertise has been recognized and leveraged by organizations like Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) and the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA), where he serves as executive director. Romirowsky's scholarship has been featured in esteemed publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The National Interest, and The Jerusalem Post. His education from King's College London and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has solidified his reputation as a respected authority within the field.
Not only is Romirowsky an accomplished scholar, he is also a prolific writer. In 2013, he co-authored "Religion, Politics, and the Origins of Palestine Refugee Relief" with Alexander H. Joffe. Furthermore, he contributed to "The Case Against Academic Boycotts of Israel."
Currently, Romirowsky is an Israeli expatriate residing in the United States. He continues to contribute to the academic community through his roles as a senior nonresident research fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA) and as a Professor [Affiliate] at the University of Haifa.
