Arjun Bhatnagar

Arjun Bhatnagar is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and privacy advocate. He is the CEO of Cloaked, which he co-founded with his brother Abhijay Bhatnagara. The consumer-first privacy company focuses on empowering individuals to manage their personal data online.

Bhatnagar's career includes founding two companies, teaching coding at MIT, serving as a partner at RallyCry Ventures, and establishing a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities in underserved communities. Before Cloaked, he and his brother launched "Hey! HeadsUp," which was later acquired. His experience spans leading system architecture for Fortune 500 companies and startups, managing engineering teams, and contributing to innovations in artificial intelligence, mobile technology, and assistive devices such as a prosthetic arm for a young child. Bhatnagar holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Design from Babson College, and a Certificate in Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.

Under Bhatnagar's leadership, Cloaked has developed into a comprehensive privacy platform, offering services such as identity theft protection insurance and data removal. The company emphasizes security through end-to-end encryption, zero-knowledge architecture, and user-specific databases, and has achieved certifications including ISO27001, ISO27701, SOC 2 Type I, and SOC 2 Type II. At launch, Cloaked attracted more than 50,000 users to its waiting list and reached the top position on Product Hunt. Bhatnagar has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.

Bhatnagar is active in the national dialogue on data privacy and consumer rights. Cloaked launched the "My Data, Act!" campaign and the advocacy hub MyDataAct.org, inspired by the MY DATA Act introduced by U.S. Representative Lori Trahan, to support federal protections for privacy-enhancing technologies. He regularly provides data protection guidance to media outlets and collaborates with policymakers in Washington, D.C., to advance effective consumer privacy legislation. Through the Ira Jaan Foundation, Bhatnagar leads education initiatives, including building schools in the Philippines.
