Arielle Patrick

Arielle Patrick is the incoming Managing Partner, New York of Upland Workshop (January 2026). Founded by Adam Mendelsohn, Upland Workshop is one of the most respected and dynamic corporate advisory boutiques. Clients include LeBron James, Stephen Ross, Cadillac Formula 1, Maria Sharapova, H.I.G. Capital and RedBird Capital Partners. In addition to leading Upland Workshop’s New York office, Patrick is building the firm’s offering in the financial sector - bringing together executive strategy, comprehensive advisory support, and access to strategic partners and capital to unlock true growth and value for management teams and investors.

She previously served as Chief Communications Officer of Ariel Investments, where she restructured and led one centralized hub overseeing marketing, philanthropy, government affairs, internal and external communications, corporate and executive leadership communications, branding and creative. She led Ariel’s rebranding strategy, earning four awards for the firm's new website. Patrick sat on the Senior Leadership Team, Risk Committee and inaugural Operating Committee. She was also a licensed general securities broker (FINRA Series 7).

A recipient of PRWeek magazine's "Women of Distinction" award and the "Innovator 25" by PRovoke Media, Patrick has spent her career advising public and private company CEOs and boards on investor relations, reputation management and risk assessment, crisis management and scenario planning, and all-stakeholder communications strategies for financially material matters.

Previously, Patrick was Executive Vice President & Transaction Director at Edelman, leading the mergers & acquisitions and bankruptcy / restructuring team. She was formerly at Weber Shandwick in its Crisis Communications & Issues Management and Corporate practices.

In her spare time, Patrick is Contributing Editor of Town & Country Magazine, and sits on the Board of Trustees of American Ballet Theatre Company, her alma mater The Chapin School, and the Institute for Public Relations. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Yellowstone National Park's foundation. She is Founding Co-Chair of the Vanguard Council at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Arthur W. Page Society.

Patrick graduated from Princeton University, where she earned an AB in Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin language, literature and history). She is a native of Manhattan where she currently lives with her husband, Aaron Goldstein, Partner & Co-Owner of Macellum Capital Management, and their two daughters.
