Ariana Figuera

Ariana Figuera is a 10-time Emmy-winning bilingual sports journalist, anchor, and reporter. A key part of Telemundo’s National Football League (NFL) coverage for the past three seasons—including three Super Bowls—she's known for seamlessly switching between Spanish and English, helping athletes share their stories, triumphs, and heartache with global audiences in the two most widely spoken and understood languages. Renowned for her in-depth storytelling, Figuera also covers major events like the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, 2024 Paris Olympics, IndyCar, the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cups (in France and Australia/New Zealand, respectively).

The 2026-2027 NFL Preseason will be Figuera’s second straight year of being the Carolina Panthers’ analyst covering all their games for the team’s Spanish Language television package, making her one of less than a dozen female voices to ever sit in the PxP or commentator seat of a TV broadcast since 1987.

Part of Telemundo’s all-star roster covering the 2024 Paris Olympics, Figuera was on the sidelines providing in-depth storylines and interviews across swimming and diving, judo, archery, boxing, weightlifting, indoor volleyball and beach volleyball, men’s triathlon, golf, and other sports. With Venezuelan roots, Figuera was assigned to cover both the United States and Latin American countries. Her multi-cultural insights enriched her storytelling, making her a relatable and trusted voice for Spanish and English-speaking audiences, interviewing U.S. legendary and world record holding medalists like the U.S. Swim team's Katie Ledecky, Gretchen Walsh, Hunter Armstrong, Mexican diver Juan Celaya, Mexico’s judo silver medalist Prisca Awiti, Ecuadorian weightlifting multi-medalist Neisi Dajomes, Mexico’s boxing silver medalist, Marco Verde, Brazilian indoor volleyball bronze medalist Gabriela Braga, and Mexico’s mixed team archery sensations Matías Grande and Alejandra Valencia

Renowned for her in-depth storytelling, Telemundo has utilized Figuera across its other slate of highly watched global events and programming, including IndyCar, the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, the 2024 CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup, and the 2019 (France) and 2023 (Australia/New Zealand) FIFA Women’s World Cups.

Before being part of Telemundo’s national network, Figuera spent several years in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, joining Telemundo 39 in early 2017 as a sports anchor and journalist, delivering daily sports updates in the 5th biggest sports market in the United States. Her coverage spanned major local teams such as the Dallas Cowboys (NFL), Texas Rangers (MLB), FC Dallas (MLS), Dallas Mavericks (NBA), and Dallas Stars (NHL), as well as being on the ground for other international events in this culturally diverse city, such as Copa América (Intl Soccer) and main cards in boxing.

Following earning her degree at Northeastern University in Boston, Figuera started her on-air career at Univision Deportes in Miami, both as a line producer and reporter. This dual role allowed her to hone her behind-the-scenes ability while also building her on-camera presence.
