Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua OBE is a prominent heavyweight boxer known for his achievements in both amateur and professional boxing. Joshua began his ascent in the sport with a strong amateur career, capturing consecutive ABA Heavyweight Championship titles. His amateur accomplishments include winning gold in the super heavyweight division at the London Olympics, making him the first British boxer to secure Olympic gold in that division. He also earned a silver medal at the AIBA World Amateur Boxing Championships and was named Amateur Boxer of the Year by the British Boxing Writers' Club.

Joshua transitioned to the professional ranks and quickly established himself as a leading figure in heavyweight boxing. He claimed his first world title, the IBF heavyweight championship, with a knockout victory over Charles Martin. Joshua later became a two-time unified heavyweight world champion, holding the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles. With a professional record of 29 wins and 4 losses, including 26 knockouts, Joshua remains a significant presence in the heavyweight division and continues to be linked to a potential bout with Tyson Fury.

Outside the ring, Joshua has been recognized with both the MBE and OBE for his contributions to sport. He has also established the AJ Boxing Club to support youth development.
