Anthony Daniels

Born in England, Anthony Daniels is the only actor to appear in all eleven "Star Wars" films, best known for portraying the beloved protocol droid C-3PO. Though originally steered toward a legal career, Daniels left law school to pursue acting, studying mime and radio—skills that would later prove invaluable.

After winning a BBC Radio Drama Award and joining the National Theatre, Daniels was cast in "Star Wars: A New Hope" thanks to his performance skills and a compelling concept illustration of his future character. Despite initial skepticism toward sci-fi, he embraced the role, enduring the physical challenges of the iconic gold costume and ultimately becoming an essential part of the franchise.

Daniels reprised C-3PO in every major "Star Wars" film, including voice and puppetry work in the prequels and cameos in "Rogue One", "The Rise of Skywalker," "Solo," and "Ahsoka." Beyond film, he brought C-3PO to life in animated series ("Droids," "Rebels," "The Clone Wars"), live performances, GPS voices, museum exhibitions, and even cereal boxes.

A writer and producer as well, Daniels authored "I Am C-3PO: The Inside Story" and contributed to "Star Wars" comics, games, and columns. He has also appeared in a range of TV dramas and comedies and produced immersive entertainment experiences worldwide.
