Anneliese van der Pol is a Dutch-American actress, singer, and dancer whose career spans television, film, Broadway, and concert touring. A graduate of the Musical Theater Program at the Orange County High School of the Arts in California, van der Pol began performing at a young age. Her performance as Eva Perón in the Buena Park Civic Theater production of "Evita" earned her recognition from the Los Angeles Times and made her the youngest actress, at age 15, to play the role in a professional production. She received an Austin Critics Table Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Laurey in "Oklahoma!" for Austin Musical Theater.
After her early work in musical theater, van der Pol was cast as Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel series "That's So Raven" and its spin-off "Raven's Home." She received recognition as part of the ensemble cast, which won the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Performers in a TV Series. The series contributed to Disney Channel's success, earning multiple nominations and wins at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite TV Show.
In association with Disney Channel, van der Pol recorded several songs, including "Over It," featured on the "Stuck in the Suburbs" soundtrack. Her theater career includes appearing as Belle in the Broadway production of "Beauty and the Beast," where she was the final actress to play the role before the show's closing. She also originated the role of Kathy in the Off-Broadway production of "Vanities" at Second Stage Theatre.
Van der Pol's regional theater credits include roles in "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "Meet Me in St. Louis," and "Oklahoma!" Her film credits include "Bratz," "Vampires Suck," and "5 Weddings." In addition to her television and film work, van der Pol has performed in "Disney Princess – The Concert," touring nationally and internationally. Her career encompasses television acting, Broadway musicals, film roles, and live concert performances, reflecting her versatility in the entertainment industry.
