A small-but-mighty Midwesterner, Anne Yatco grew up in a small town in IL. As a Filipino, performing (by way of Karaoke) was a part of her life from an early age. She went to Marquette University and graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering (yes, really), but spent most of those 4 years at the Theatre Department. She next got her M.F.A. in Acting at the California Institute of the Arts. Yatco then worked full-time as a forensic scientist, doing accident reconstruction for a private company, for several years (yes, really).
However, Yatco ultimately wanted to pursue acting and comedy. Yatco has performed in theaters all over the world, including the Kennedy Center, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Zhongguancun International Musical Festival. In LA, she appeared in UCLA Live’s Medea (starring Annette Bening) and Bloodletting at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. TV credits include Station 19 (co-star). She also trained in improv and sketch comedy at iO West and Pack Theater. She was on Pack Theater house improv team Belligerent, Pack house sketch team Royale and all-women-of-color sketch team The BAE*GENCY.
As a voice actor, Yatco is most well-known as the English voice of Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen (Crunchyroll’s Anime of the Year 2021) and the Raiden Shogun (and various NPC’s) in Genshin Impact (2021 Game Award for Best Mobile Game). She is also the new voice of Sabine Dupain-Cheng in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Yatco has lent her voice to video games such as Ghostwire: Tokyo, Naraka Bladepoint, NEO: The World Ends with You, Seven Knights 2, Shadowverse, Smite, Paladins, Elex 2, Epic Seven, Guardian Tales, Wasteland 3, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Vindictus and Dragon Nest. She’s been in the English dubs of various anime including Bastard!, Blue Period, Pompo the Cinephile, Vampire in the Garden, Prince of Tennis, Kotaro Lives Alone, Platinum End, To Your Eternity, I’m Standing on a Million Lives, Godzilla Singular Point, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, Beastars, High-Rise Invasion, I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, BNA, Penguin Highway, Devilman Crybaby, Violet Evergarden (series and movie) and Kuromukuro. Yatco’s also worked on the English dubs of various live-action shows; many of her credits can be found on her IMDb page. And she has lent her voice to commercials for clients ranging from Amazon to Toyota to Mr. Clean.
Outside of performing, Yatco loves all things crafty (sewing, knitting, crocheting, making pop-up cards), games (she and her husband Zach have a closet full of board games), food and drink (she’s a sucker for a dry rose or a sour beer) and, of course, naps. All the naps.
