Anne Morriss

Anne Morriss is on a mission to help people realize their full potential as leaders and changemakers. Author of three best- selling books on leadership, Morriss is among the world’s most influential thinkers, speakers, and advisors. She has worked with entrepreneurs, companies, and governments around the world on leading transformational change. Her collaborators have ranged from early- stage tech founders to public sector leaders working to build national competitiveness.

Morriss has also put her own theory into practice: as Founder and CEO of GenePeeks, Morriss built a computational genomics company developing breakthrough ways to identify disease risk. She is also the Founder of The Leadership Consortium, a first-of-its kind leadership accelerator that works to build inclusive executive teams and prepare emerging leaders for senior leadership.

In addition to countless articles and case studies, Morriss is the best-selling co-author of "Uncommon Service, Unleashed" and the newly released "Move Fast & Fix Things: The Trusted Leader’s Guide to Solving Hard Problems." Along with her co-author, Harvard Business School Professor Frances Frei, Morriss hosts the breakthrough TED podcast Fixable , a leadership advice show that helps guests solve workplace problems in a single, brave conversation. An in- demand leadership coach, Morriss recently delivered a viral TED talk on “Five steps to fix any problem at work,” which has been viewed more than a million times.

Morriss serves on several not-for-profit boards, including the national Board of IGNITE, which works to increase the political engagement of young women. She received her BA from Brown University and MBA from Harvard Business School. Morriss has been recognized repeatedly by Thinkers50 as among the world’s leading management thinkers.
