Annabeth Gish

Annabeth Gish is an American actress whose career spans film, television and independent cinema. She began acting as a child and transitioned to adult roles while still in her teens, earning her first lead role in the feature film “Desert Bloom.” After a series of film appearances, Gish stepped away from acting to attend Duke University, where she studied English and women’s studies.

She returned to the screen in supporting roles across independent films and television movies before gaining wider recognition during the final season of “The X-Files,” a role she later reprised for the series’ revival. She also appeared on “The West Wing” as the first daughter, which led to a regular role on Showtime’s “Brotherhood” as the troubled wife of a local politician.

In recent years, Gish has continued to work steadily across television, film and streaming platforms. Her credits include appearances in series such as “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School,” in which she reprised her role as Dr. Anne Sullivan, and a multi-episode arc on NBC’s “Chicago Fire” as the mayor’s chief of staff. Her recent film work includes a role in the 2024 crime drama “Ride.”

In addition to her acting career, Gish has expanded into the fashion space, serving as the face of the St. John Resort 2026 campaign. Her body of work reflects a versatile and enduring presence across studio films, television dramas and independent projects.
