Ann Kerian

Ann Kerian is a professional whose career began in television journalism and expanded into executive coaching, public speaking, and media consulting. Kerian spent nearly 20 years as a television anchor and reporter, working at WEAR-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pensacola, Florida, where she co-anchored the 10 p.m. news and covered military affairs, and previously served as a bureau chief for WCTI-TV, the ABC affiliate in New Bern, North Carolina. She later worked at KWWL-TV, the NBC affiliate serving Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Dubuque, where she co-anchored the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. news and reported on health topics. Kerian holds a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting with a minor in political science and sociology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

Kerian is a professional speaker, executive coach, and media consultant specializing in effective communication, leadership development, and marketing and public relations. She established Ann Kerian: Consulting & Coaching, LLC, and has worked with companies worldwide, including Disney, John Deere, and United Way, focusing on communication, leadership training, and resilience. Kerian was recognized as one of the Cedar Valley's top 20 under 40 business leaders.

Kerian is a member of the International Coach Federation and the National Speakers Association. She received her coaching training through Coach U and is a certified teleclass leader as well as a member of the Circle of Brilliance coaches organization. Her client list includes John Deere Waterloo Operations, Ameriprise Financial, the Young Leaders Association, Iowa Hospital Association, Hawkeye Community College, Wheaton Franciscan Health Care, Cedar Valley United Way, Prudential, Baker Tilly, and Sentry Insurance, among others.

Kerian is co-author of the book "Mastering the Art of Success" with Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen, and Jack Canfield, and also co-authored "No Winner Ever Got There Without a Coach" with Dr. Pam Brill and David Rock.
