Aniya Harvey

Aniya Harvey is a marketing professional, former collegiate athlete, and reality television personality recognized for her appearance as a cast member on Season 8 of Peacock's dating series "Love Island USA." Harvey entered the villa on Day 1 and was ultimately named runner-up alongside her partner Carl Schmidt on Day 32. Her presence on the show contributed to the season's status as a top streaming reality series, which attracted a significant new audience to the franchise and generated substantial engagement across social media platforms.

Harvey holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Florida Atlantic University, where she played collegiate volleyball and worked in marketing for the university's athletics department. After a career-ending injury during her senior year, Harvey shifted her focus to sports marketing and brand strategy. She became the sixth former FAU Owl to appear on "Love Island USA" and the third FAU alumnus to reach the show's finale.

Harvey's background in athletics is influenced by her father, Donnell Harvey, a former NBA player who played as a power forward for teams including the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and New Jersey Nets. In addition to her television and marketing career, Harvey has contributed to the Reconstructing Youth Foundation, an organization founded by her father that provides afterschool activities and events for youth in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. She has served as the foundation's Southwest regional marketing lead, creating content for its social media accounts and website.
