Anil Chakravarthy

Anil Chakravarthy is a technology executive with a career spanning consulting, enterprise security, cloud data management, and digital experience software. Chakravarthy began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he became co-leader of the E-Business Practice in the Silicon Valley Business Technology Office. Before joining Symantec, he led product management for Enterprise Security Services at VeriSign. At Symantec Corporation, Chakravarthy held several leadership roles, including executive vice president of information security, overseeing engineering, product management, and operations for a broad product portfolio that included Data Loss Prevention, E-Mail and Web Security, Managed Services, Trust Services, and Authentication.

Chakravarthy joined Informatica as executive vice president and chief product officer, later becoming CEO. At Informatica, he led the company’s transformation to cloud and subscription services, managed its transition to a private company following a multibillion-dollar buyout, and drove innovation in cloud data management and enterprise software for a global customer base.

Chakravarthy joined Adobe as executive vice president and general manager, leading the Digital Experience business. As president, he oversees Adobe's Digital Experience business, recognized as one of the largest SaaS businesses and a leader in customer experience orchestration. He is also responsible for worldwide field operations, including enterprise sales, professional services, and customer success. Chakravarthy has played a key role in expanding Adobe’s customer experience orchestration and digital transformation initiatives, focusing on innovation-led growth and organizational development.

Chakravarthy holds a Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering from the Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He serves on the board of FIS and has previously served on the boards of Ansys and USAA Bank. Chakravarthy’s expertise in enterprise software, cybersecurity, AI-driven software, and digital transformation informs his perspective on the future of business and the digital economy.
