Andy Daly

Andy Daly is an actor, comedian, and writer known for his work in television, film, animation, and podcasting. When Upright Citizens Brigade relocated to New York from Chicago, Daly was among the first New Yorkers to study improvisation with the group and performed in many of its earliest shows. He was also a member of the long-form improvisation group The Swarm, assembled and directed by Amy Poehler. During the late 1990s, Daly appeared frequently in sketches on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and contributed voice work to Robert Smigel's "TV Funhouse" cartoons on "Saturday Night Live."

Daly joined the cast of "MADtv" as a featured player before returning as a full cast member. He later worked as a writer and actor on the Comedy Central parody series "Crossballs: The Debate Show." Daly played multiple characters on the police comedy "Reno 911!" and joined the cast of "Eastbound & Down" on HBO as a middle school principal.

Daly starred in, executive produced, and wrote episodes of the Comedy Central series "Review," which he co-adapted from the Australian series "Review with Myles Barlow." The show featured Daly as professional critic Forrest MacNeil, who provides reviews of real-life experiences. Beyond "Review," Daly has appeared in sitcoms and dramas including "Modern Family," "The League," "Silicon Valley," "Veep," and "The Big Bang Theory." His film credits include "Semi-Pro," "Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life," "Post Grad," and "She's Out of My League."

As a voice actor, Daly has contributed to animated series such as "Good Vibes," "The Life & Times of Tim," and "American Dad!" He has also made recurring appearances in animated shows including "Rick and Morty," "Solar Opposites," "Bob's Burgers," "Adventure Time," and "Harley Quinn." Daly is recognized for his podcast appearances, notably on "Comedy Bang Bang" and on his own show "The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project." His podcasting efforts, including "Bonanas For Bonanza" and other projects, are available on his Patreon. Daly continues to perform live improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles, appearing in the theater's signature ASSSSCAT show. His career encompasses sketch, improv, film, television, animation, and podcasting, reflecting a broad range of work in comedy and entertainment.
