Andy Adler

Andy Rosa Adler is a bilingual news and sports anchor whose career spans major media markets across the United States. Known as the first female lead sports anchor in New York, Adler has established a reputation for combining journalistic expertise with the ability to connect with athletes and audiences. A Stanford University graduate with honors, Adler began her broadcasting career at age 20. After graduating cum laude from Stanford, she joined the NBC Page program in Burbank, California, advancing from giving tours of the NBC lot to working in the KNBC newsroom as an editor's assistant.

Adler's broadcasting career continued in New York at Fox 5 (WNYW), where she served as an evening sports anchor and fill-in host for "Good Day New York." She covered the Giants' Super Bowl 42 run and win as a field reporter and reported on the Yankees' World Series Championship and the MLB All-Star Game. Adler later moved to Los Angeles to join KNBC, co-anchoring "Today in LA" and hosting the Los Angeles Lakers' pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows on Time Warner Cable SportsNet LA, working alongside NBA figures such as James Worthy and Robert Horry.

Adler returned to New York as the lead sports anchor for PIX11 News, also hosting the PIX11 Sports Desk. During her tenure at PIX11, she conducted exclusive interviews with sports figures including Magic Johnson, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Pelé, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, and Eli Manning. She created and hosted the Emmy-nominated series "One on One with Andy Adler" in collaboration with Sports Illustrated. Adler later served as an evening sports anchor for CBS in Dallas, co-hosting the Cowboys' pre- and postgame shows while anchoring sports and news coverage.

A native Spanish speaker, Adler has hosted coverage for franchises such as the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Cowboys. She made her film debut with a cameo appearance in "Fast Five" starring Dwayne Johnson. Beyond her on-air work, Adler is involved with charitable organizations including The World of Children, Children's Health Fund, and NAMI-NYC, serving as a host and emcee for fundraising events. She is also the author of the children's book "Andy Pandy," which promotes resilience and kindness among young readers.
