Andrew Carle is an internationally recognized expert on issues of aging and retirement, an award-winning professor, and lead faculty for the curricula in Senior Living Administration at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He has been recognized for defining a new model of senior housing – University Based Retirement Communities (URCs), a new category of technology - “Nana” Technology (technology for older adults), and award-winning memory care design.
Carle is a past contributor to Forbes.com and his work has been featured or cited in or on The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, NPR, CBS News, CNN, PBS, and U.S. News & World Report, among others. He has presented at more than 50 national and international conferences, including providing the keynote address at the 25th Australian Congress on Aging. He serves as Founder of UniversityRetirementCommunities.com and is a 2024 recipient of the Industry Ally Pinnacle Award from McKnight’s News Service.
