
Andrea Kremer is a multi-Emmy Award-winning sports journalist and Chief Correspondent for NFL Network, recognized for her in-depth reporting on health and safety in professional sports. Kremer began her career at NFL Films as its first female producer, contributing to the HBO program "Inside the NFL" and later working as a producer, director, and on-air personality for "This is the NFL." She became ESPN's first female correspondent, serving for 17 years across NFL coverage and appearing on "SportsCenter," "Sunday NFL Countdown," "Monday Night Countdown," and "Outside the Lines."
Kremer transitioned to NBC as a sideline reporter for "Sunday Night Football" and contributed to "Football Night in America." She reported from the poolside during the Beijing Summer Games for Michael Phelps's gold medal pursuits and covered Phelps's historic achievements at the London Games. As a correspondent for HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," Kremer earned a Peabody Award for her reporting on the abuse of the drug Toradol. Alongside Hannah Storm, Kremer became part of the first all-female duo to call an NFL game for Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video, providing an alternative NFL broadcast experience.
Kremer has reported on more than 30 Super Bowls, the NBA Finals and All-Star Games, Major League Baseball All-Star Game and League Championship Series, college football bowl games, NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and Finals, the NCAA men's basketball tournament, U.S. Olympic basketball trials, and the PGA Championship. Her reporting has addressed issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and drug abuse, contributing to socially conscious sports journalism. Kremer helped launch "We Need to Talk," the first all-female nationally televised weekly sports show on CBS Sports Network, which received a Gracie Grand Award for On-Air Talent: Sports Program. She also hosts "NFL Films: Tales From the Vault," a podcast exploring NFL history through exclusive interviews.
Kremer's honors include eight Emmys, multiple Gracies, a Peabody, the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Mary Garber Pioneer Award from the Association of Women in Sports Media, and induction into the Cynopsis Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to her broadcasting career, Kremer teaches "The Art of the Interview" in the Department of Journalism at Boston University's College of Communication and has delivered keynote addresses and hosted events for organizations including the United Nations, Citi, Goldman Sachs, and Fidelity.
