Andrea Anders

Andrea Anders is an actress known for her work in television, film, and theater. Anders earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University, where she trained in the Meisner technique. Before transitioning to screen roles, she gained stage experience as an understudy for Mary-Louise Parker in the Broadway production of "Proof" and later played Elaine Robinson in "The Graduate."

Anders became widely recognized for her role as Alex Garrett on the NBC sitcom "Joey," a spin-off of "Friends." She appeared in 46 episodes over both seasons of the show. She later joined the ensemble cast of the CBS comedy "The Class," portraying Nicole Allen. Anders has held main roles in several network comedies, including "Joey," "The Class," "Better Off Ted," "Mr. Sunshine," and "Mr. Mom." Her television career also includes guest appearances on series such as "Cruel Summer," "Oz," "Young Sheldon," and "Modern Family." She has held recurring roles on "Ted Lasso," "Young Sheldon," and "The Good Fight."

In "Ted Lasso" on Apple TV+, Anders played Michelle Lasso, Ted's estranged wife, across nine episodes. She also portrayed Sherri Runck in 13 episodes of Netflix's "That '90s Show." In film, Anders has worked with her brother, director and producer Sean Anders, in projects including "Never Been Thawed," "Sex Drive," "Daddy's Home 2," "Instant Family," "Countdown," and "Spirited."
