Anand Vengurlekar

Anand Vengurlekar is a British innovation strategy advisor and C-suite consultant with a career spanning more than two decades across four continents. With extensive experience at innovation-driven organizations, Vengurlekar specializes in translating complex innovation frameworks into practical strategies for executive teams. His expertise bridges design thinking, brand strategy, and organizational change, supporting leaders navigating dynamic market environments.

Vengurlekar led the SONY VAIO division's team in launching IT products and services to Fortune 50 clients, contributing to increased European sales. He was appointed by the Samsung board to drive the brand's launch in Scandinavia, helping the company achieve the number one market position and $1 billion in annual sales. At IDEO, Vengurlekar collaborated with Fortune 50 companies on product development projects for major consumer brands such as Target, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, GM, and GE. At LEGO, he served as director of future branding at the internal think tank VISIONLAB, leading scenario research and its impact on brand equity and product development.

After completing a Global Executive MBA at INSEAD, where he served as class president and valedictorian, Vengurlekar was appointed as INSEAD's first global chief communications officer. In this role, he contributed to the school's achievement of a number one global ranking and redesigned key elements of the student experience. He later served as a senior advisor in innovation and strategy at the UAE Federal Government Ministry of Economy, advising on brand and communication strategies for the national rollout of ESG policies within the UAE business community.

Vengurlekar currently operates as an independent innovation consultant and C-suite advisor based in Dubai, collaborating with institutions such as PwC Academy and business schools including IE Business School in partnership with Financial Times. He has implemented innovation processes and culture change for senior management at organizations including ADNOC, G42, Disney, Chalhoub, and Richemont Group in the UAE, as well as MISK, Tahakom, and STC in Saudi Arabia. Having delivered more than 600 workshops to top-tier clients and lived in over 10 countries, Vengurlekar brings cultural fluency and practical expertise to each engagement. He is a regular keynote speaker at forums such as Asbar World Forum in Riyadh, Baltic Hospitality Investment Forum, Luxury Forum in Paris, and PIF Retail Innovation Forum, addressing topics including business leadership, corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, and the future of innovation in the Middle East and beyond.
