Amy Seidenwurm

Amy Seidenwurm is a technology leader whose career spans the music industry, cultural institutions, and immersive media. Earlier in her career, Seidenwurm worked as a record industry executive at Elektra, Virgin, and Sub Pop. She became involved in technology during the grunge era in Seattle and has since led tech-driven initiatives for music and cultural organizations.

Seidenwurm served as executive producer for Meta's VR for Good initiative, which uses virtual reality to raise awareness on social issues such as trans rights and racial justice. She has produced VR projects selected for more than 50 festivals and social good events, including Sundance, SXSW Film, Tribeca Film Festival, Skoll World Forum, Venice Film Festival, The Nobel Peace Museum, and the UN General Assembly. Among her works, Seidenwurm received a Peabody Award as executive producer of "You Destroy. We Create | The war on Ukraine's culture." She also had two projects nominated for the first Emerging Media Emmy, including "MLK: Now is the Time."

At the Los Angeles Philharmonic and The Hollywood Bowl, Seidenwurm produced digital projects, including the traveling orchestral VR experience "VAN Beethoven," which brought classical music and virtual reality to underserved arts communities. She was also a member of Meta's Inclusive Product Council, which reviews VR, augmented reality, and metaverse products for ethics, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.

Prior to joining Agog, Seidenwurm founded ANTLER, a consultancy deploying immersive experiences for social good. She holds the position of chief of programs and strategy at Agog and is a member of the executive committee at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Agog is an immersive media institute for social good, founded to revolutionize communications and support professionals in the immersive media field. In her role, Seidenwurm focuses on expanding the reach of XR work beyond festivals, exploring public spaces such as museums, libraries, schools, and civic institutions, and collaborating with creators to make immersive experiences more accessible across venues. Her experience across the music industry, technology platforms, and nonprofit leadership positions her as a knowledgeable voice on the impact of immersive media for social change.
