Amy Pascal

Amy Pascal is a veteran film executive and producer whose leadership has shaped some of Hollywood’s most successful franchises and studio eras. During her tenure at Sony Pictures, she helped guide the studio through challenging financial periods for parent company Sony, delivering consistent box-office success. Films including "Julie & Julia," "The Da Vinci Code" and "Talladega Nights" propelled Sony to major gains in summer box-office rankings, with the studio rising to second place after finishing eighth the prior year. Under Pascal’s leadership, her division generated more than $1 billion annually in domestic box office revenue for over a decade, with revenue reaching $7.3 billion in a single year. She later became co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, formalizing her partnership with CEO Michael Lynton.

In 2019, Pascal and her production company, Pascal Pictures, departed Sony after 30 years to enter into a first-look deal with Universal Pictures. In 2025, Amazon MGM Studios announced that Pascal, alongside producer David Heyman, would oversee the James Bond franchise and produce future installments through Pascal Pictures and Heyday Films. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned from Universal to MGM for a first-look producing deal.
