Amit Bhatia

Amit Bhatia is a British entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, private equity, and strategic investment. He is the founder and managing director of AyBe Capital Advisers (formerly Swordfish Investments), and the founder of the Global Relief Initiative, reflecting his commitment to both business innovation and philanthropic impact.

Bhatia serves as Chairman of Breedon Group Plc and is an owner and director of Queens Park Rangers Football Club, combining his expertise in corporate governance with a passion for sports and community engagement. Over his career, he has led multiple companies and invested across a broad range of industries, including education, media, telecommunications, technology, consumer goods, and real estate.

His entrepreneurial spirit emerged early, notably at Cornell University, where he studied Economics and first demonstrated his knack for business. After gaining experience at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in New York, and taking time to volunteer in South America, he founded Swordfish Investments (now AyBe Capital Advisers), building a platform for strategic, high-impact investments.

Educated in Delhi and London, Bhatia remains active in alumni affairs, serving on Cornell University’s External Advisory Council for Internationalization.
