Their latest album, The Fear of Standing Still, produced by Shooter Jennings and mixed by Grammy-winner Trina Shoemaker, explores themes like fatherhood, sobriety, generational trauma, and Southern identity with newfound intensity. Tracks like “Crier” challenge toxic masculinity, while “Babies Having Babies” serves as a poignant pro-choice narrative. The album, recorded live at Sunset Sound, reflects a return to the band’s hard-driving live energy and features collaborations with artists like Katie Pruitt.
