Dr. Amar Rewari, MD, MBA, FASTRO, is the chief of radiation oncology at Luminis Health, an adjunct assistant professor of radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and chair of health policy for the American Society for Radiation Oncology board of directors.
Dr. Rewari is dual-trained with an MD from Yale School of Medicine and an MBA from Yale School of Management, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to the intersection of clinical medicine and business strategy. With a background in investment banking at Credit Suisse and health policy at Aetna's Office of the Chairman, Dr. Rewari combines clinical precision with high-level financial expertise to drive value-based health care reform.
He is principal investigator on multiple clinical trials, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is a frequent invited speaker at major international medical conferences.
A trusted voice in national health care dialogue, Dr. Rewari has appeared on NBC News, NewsNation and "LIVE with Kelly & Mark," and has been interviewed by Politico, The Daily Mail and Medscape.
