Alyssa Dver

Alyssa Dver is a confidence expert, entrepreneur, and the CEO and co-founder of the American Confidence Institute, an organization focused on sharing science-based methods for sustainably increasing personal, academic, and professional confidence. Dver founded the institute to advance her research and expand access to evidence-based confidence training. The institute has trained more than 350,000 individuals through workshops and coaching certification programs.

Before founding the American Confidence Institute, Dver served as chief marketing officer for six technology companies and later established Mint Green Marketing, advising more than 150 clients globally. Her expertise in confidence development was shaped by her experience navigating her son's neurological condition, Dystonia, which led her to explore cross-disciplinary approaches and the emerging field of brain science, challenging traditional confidence-building practices.

Dver is an eight-time International Book Award-winning author, with titles including "Confidence is a Choice: Real Science. Superhero Impact" and "ERG Intelligence: What Every Leader Needs to Know About Employee Groups." Her work has been recognized by leaders at Harvard Medical and Business Schools, MIT, Wharton, UPenn Neuroscience, Yale, UC Berkeley, Amazon, Xerox, and The World Bank. Dver has delivered TEDx talks and has been recognized as one of Boston's Best Speakers. She has been named a Top 10 Pioneering Women Leader in Business by Chief Navigators and has received a Stevie Award for Thought Leadership as well as the Gold Stevie Award for Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion.

Entrepreneurial incubators such as Wharton and MIT engage Dver to teach confidence-building to company founders and faculty. Her clients include MIT, Wharton, Harvard, IBM, Spotify, Wayfair, Pepsi, the U.S. Air Force, State Street, Staples, and the Royal Bank of Canada, as well as numerous nonprofits, associations, and conferences. As spokesperson and confidence educator at L'Oréal/IT Cosmetics, Dver created the "Confidence at Work" initiative, providing free confidence-building resources to employees and reaching female business owners in underserved communities.

Dver is also the chair and founder of the ERG Leadership Alliance, overseeing a global community of more than 25,000 organizations dedicated to employee resource groups. She hosts the podcast "Real Confidence," where she explores the science and social dynamics behind lasting confidence.
