Aly Michalka

Aly Michalka is an actress, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career spans television, film, and music. Michalka gained recognition for her starring role as Keely Teslow in the Disney Channel sitcom "Phil of the Future," a performance that established her as a prominent figure among young television audiences. A pianist and guitarist, Michalka writes music and performs with her sister, AJ Michalka, as the pop duo Aly & AJ. The duo signed with Hollywood Records after an audition featuring six original acoustic songs.

Aly & AJ released their debut album, "Into the Rush," which was certified Gold by the RIAA and included the singles "Rush" and "Chemicals React." Their third album, "Insomniatic," featured the Billboard top 20 single "Potential Breakup Song." The song later gained significant popularity on TikTok, generating over 2 billion video views and widespread fan engagement. After a period of musical inactivity, the duo returned with the extended plays "Ten Years" and "Sanctuary," followed by the studio albums "A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun," "With Love From," and "Silver Deliverer." Billboard recognized "A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun" among the best albums of the year, and The Guardian included it in its list of top albums.

In addition to her music career, Michalka has appeared in films such as "Bandslam," "Easy A," "The Roommate," "Grown Ups 2," "Sequoia," "Weepah Way for Now," and "The Lears." She held starring roles in The CW series "Hellcats" and "iZombie," as well as the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Sand Dollar Cove."
