Allyson Hernandez

Allyson Hernandez is a professional actress, singer, composer, published author, and executive coach who works at the intersection of the performing arts and corporate leadership. As the founder and CEO of AH Coaching Group, Hernandez is an HR leader and executive coach who integrates strategic leadership development with a focus on human connection. With more than 20 years of experience, she has designed and led leadership development programs that support talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee retention.

Before founding AH Coaching Group, Hernandez spent two decades in human resources, where she specialized in designing and facilitating leadership development programs across multiple industries. As a director of learning and leadership development, she established scalable programs that served a national workforce across 26 offices. Her work coaching business professionals on communication and executive presence led her to complete a year-long coach training program with IPEC, an ICF-accredited institution. Hernandez holds certifications in Energy Leadership, Myers-Briggs, Emotional Intelligence, and Hogan assessments, and is an ICF-accredited coach (ACC). She is also a founding executive coach at Chief, where she guides cohorts of executive women in leadership, communication, and executive presence.

In the performing arts, Hernandez has performed at the Apollo Theater and toured with the gospel musical "If This Hat Could Talk," directed by Tony Award-winning director George Faison. She originated the role of Kate in the 29-hour reading of "Watcher in the Woods" at Urban Stages and made her 54 Below debut in the "Women in the Wings" concert, celebrating women composers as both a performer and composer/lyricist. Her debut EP, "Soul Stories," is available on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube.

Hernandez is the author of "Ballad of Dreams," a novel with music published through New Degree Press. The book became an Amazon No. 1 best seller and new release in Musicals. Inspired by a true story, "Ballad of Dreams" spans eras from the 1930s to the early 2000s, blending storytelling with musical theater by integrating original lyrics into the narrative. Hernandez discussed the book and performed her original song "It's Never Too Late" on the Tamron Hall Show. A sold-out staged concert of "Ballad of Dreams" was performed at The Triad Theater.

Hernandez holds a BFA in musical theater and English from Syracuse University and is a member of Actors Equity Association and ASCAP. She specializes in executive coaching, leadership development, and keynote speaking, with a focus on women's leadership and leadership offsites. Hernandez works with both performing arts and corporate audiences, emphasizing authenticity and creative energy in her approach to leadership and personal development.
