Allie Gonino

Allie Gonino is an American actress, singer, and songwriter with a career spanning television, film, and music. Gonino is recognized for her role as Laurel Mercer in the ABC Family teen mystery-drama series "The Lying Game," where she demonstrated both her acting and musical abilities. She has also appeared on television series such as "Unfabulous," "Cory in the House," "The Suite Life on Deck," and "Lie to Me," and held a recurring role as Michelle on the ABC Family series "10 Things I Hate About You."

Before establishing her acting career, Gonino was a member of the pop group The Stunners, formed by recording artist Vitamin C and signed to Columbia Records and Universal Republic. The group released an EP, produced several music videos, performed on The Today Show and The Wendy Williams Show, and opened for Justin Bieber on his "My World Tour." After The Stunners disbanded, Gonino became the lead vocalist and violinist for the folk-pop band The Good Mad, which debuted commercially on "The Lying Game" and released multiple EPs. She later released her solo EP "Hollywood High," featuring the single "Vamp," blending folk, jazz, and alternative music influences.

Gonino expanded her dramatic range with a main role on the Sundance Channel drama "The Red Road" alongside Jason Momoa, and appeared in the film "Geography Club" and the comedy-drama "See You in Valhalla" with Sarah Hyland. Her television credits also include appearances on "Hawaii Five-0," "Scorpion," "NCIS: New Orleans," and "The Rookie," reflecting her versatility across genres and formats.

In addition to her work in entertainment, Gonino is an activist involved with The Thirst Project, a nonprofit organization focused on building wells in developing countries to address the global water crisis. She has supported BuildOn, contributing to school construction and literacy programs internationally, and served on the Young Professionals Council for the L.A. LGBT Homeless Youth Center. A classically trained violinist and dancer, Gonino is known for her multifaceted artistry and commitment to social causes within the entertainment industry.
