Allie Clifton Biography
Allie Clifton is a sports journalist and former college basketball player from Van Wert, Ohio. After playing four seasons (and serving as co-captain) for the University of Toledo women’s basketball team, she transitioned into broadcasting, starting at ABC affiliate WTVG in Toledo before moving into sideline reporting and analyst roles. From 2012 to 2018, she covered the Cleveland Cavaliers for Fox Sports Ohio, earning regional Emmy awards along the way. In 2018, she joined Spectrum SportsNet as a pregame and studio host for Los Angeles Lakers telecasts. In February 2024, she became the first woman to call a Lakers game on local broadcast. She is also a co-host of the Road Trippin' podcast and continues to build a presence across sports media.
