Alison Moore

Alison Moore is a business leader with more than 20 years of executive experience in technology, media, and social impact sectors. After earning a political science degree, Moore began her career at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, which led to roles at HBO, DailyCandy, and NBCUniversal. She also served as chief business officer at Condé Nast, overseeing brands such as Glamour and Allure, and as chief revenue officer at SoundCloud. Throughout her career, Moore has focused on evolving businesses through creative and transformative strategies in digital media and technology.

Moore joined Comic Relief US to advance the organization's mission of driving positive change through entertainment. As CEO, she expanded its reach and impact by launching campaigns, developing partnerships, and growing the organization’s presence on emerging platforms. During her tenure, Comic Relief US raised more than $436 million to benefit 35 million children. Moore’s leadership at the nonprofit earned her recognition on the NPT Power and Influence Top 50. She has spoken about the challenges of leading organizations through transformational change, including navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, which influenced her leadership approach.

Chief appointed Moore as chief executive officer, marking a transition in the organization’s executive leadership. Chief is a membership community for women leaders, offering executive coaching, business education, and live events. The organization provides members with one-on-one and peer executive coaching, executive education courses from Wharton School of Business, annual conferences, and private events at venues such as SXSW and Cannes Lions. Under Moore’s direction, Chief expanded its membership beyond C-suite executives to include senior leaders, startup founders, and solo entrepreneurs, reflecting the evolving landscape of women’s leadership and career development.

Moore serves on the board of directors for Downtown Music Holdings, TRACE Music Group, and Comic Relief US. She is recognized for her expertise in media, nonprofit leadership, and community building, and is a frequent speaker on the future of work, women’s leadership, and digital transformation. Moore was named one of U.S. News & World Report's Best Leaders in Business.
