Alisan Porter Biography
After a lifetime of roles on TV, film, and Broadway, Alisan Porter found yet another big break on season 10 of The Voice. When auditioning for the show, she earned a spot on Team Christina Aguilera. Porter was announced the winner of season 10. Her music draws on country and soul influences, and she has released 3 studio solo albums to date: "Pink Cloud," "Who We Are," and "Alisan Porter". Porter recorded Pink Cloud live in just two days at the Sound Emporium in Nashville, capturing the throwback vibe of her favorite albums.
As a child, Porter made acting appearances in "Parenthood" and "Stella and I Love You to Death". Her breakout role came in 1991 when she played the lead in the film Curly Sue opposite Jim Belushi. As an adult, Porter pursued roles in musical theatre, including a run in The Ten Commandments: The Musical & as an original cast member of the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line.
