Alexis Andra is a burn survivor. After a freak accident at 8, Andra suffered burns covering more than 50 percent of her body. She grew up believing that her scars and her story were something to hide. Loss, divorce and grief followed, and Andra learned what it meant to rebuild a life from the ashes. Today, she is a single mother, founder, coach and speaker who discovered that the very stories she once buried are the ones that set her free, and now they are the ones she uses to help others heal. Her mission is simple: to help people stop hiding. On stages and through her podcast, Shift Happens: From Pain to Purpose, Andra teaches audiences how sharing their story brings healing to the storyteller and hope to the receiver.
