Alex Gibney

Alex Gibney, an influential figure in American documentary filmmaking, has made significant contributions to the genre over the years. His direction and production skills have been recognized in the form of numerous awards, including the 2007 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for "Taxi to the Dark Side" and three Primetime Emmy Awards in both 2013 and 2015 for "Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God" and "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief" respectively.
